The tower of Agios Petros is a well-preserved, hellenistic period, tower, situated on a hill overlooking the bay of Gavrio. It was built in the Hellenistic Era, during the 4th or 3rd century BC, and is 20m high. It has a cylindrical shape and was constructed by local schistolithic stone.

The beach of vitali is landmark of Andros island, widely considered as one of the most beautiful beaches of the Cyclades. The beach sports some of the clearest waters in the whole of the Agean.
